Jenna Laine Weddings: Ann Bradley & Jeffrey

Ann Bradley started her wedding day out at her Grandmothers home, that sits along beautiful Mobile Bay, surrounded by family and friends. Following portraits in the front yard Ann Bradley and Jeffrey married on the Grand Lawn at the Grand Hotel in front of a beautiful arbor of yellow flowers and lush greenery. Guests cocktailed on the patio beside the Bay and danced the night away inside the Grand Ballroom. Some of our favorite details included the yellow tones used in the flowers, perfect for a spring wedding, and her wedding cake, beautiful done by Couture Cakes.

Jenna Laine Weddings: Jill & Paul

We spend a lot of time talking about how amazing our brides are and Jill was no exception. She fully trusted us and her vendors to bring her vision to life and always had the biggest smile on her face at every meeting. We absolutely love her wedding invitations and all the accessories that went with it. Her logo may be one of my all-time favorites. The Grand Hotel in Point Clear provided the perfect backdrop for her first look and Saint Francis at the Point, one of our favorite all-white churches, made for a quaint ceremony location. Following the ceremony, guests were greeted at the Grand Hotel with specialty drinks, beautifully patterned linens, and soft elegant flowers. The guests enjoyed the dance floor all night long with The Tip Tops leading the show with tons of glow toys!

Jenna Laine Weddings: Emily & TJ

Working with Emily and her mother to plan this special day was such a joy for our team. Her mothers main concern was that Emily have the day she dreamed of. During meetings I loved watching the dynamic, as Emily talked about her ‘wedding wants’ and her mother sat there and smiled at her with the sweetest smile. Come wedding day all went according to plan. We are so thankful to be part of such special occasions where we can visibly see that two people are meant to be together. Fall Wedding Inspiration

My favorite wedding season is hands down the fall. I love spring, summer and winter weddings too, however the fall offers so many warm, rich colors and fun textures. I had so much fun designing this table scape below for Windwood Weddings, which is such a perfect setting for weddings in any season. The warm velvet jewel tone linens were definitely a favorite and they paired so nicely with SOHO Events and Rentals dark flatware and amber glasses. The flowers really brought the table to life. I love how Lillie Jane created so much movement within the centerpiece and provided so many rich colors, which really set off those amber goblets. The little details matter too when setting up a perfect table scape. We added a trio of peaches at the base of the stone vase and hand torn paper and calligraphy by Lettered and Measured for place cards and menu cards, even the ink color perfectly coordinates with the velvet linen. And of course the elements in these pictures would be nothing without an amazing photographer to capture them for us. We are so thankful Arden Photography lent her talents for the afternoon to take these beautiful photos.

Jenna Laine Weddings: Lauren & Thomas

Lauren & Thomas’ August wedding was perfection. Lauren wanted a classic wedding, with great food and a fun band and that’s just what they got! Lauren and Thomas selected the Grand Hotel, one of the most classic hotels in the south as their reception location and St. Francis at the Point, one of Point Clears prettiest churches for the ceremony. Lauren wanted classic white flowers with a touch a pink which offered just the right amount of color.

Lauren and Thomas danced the night away with glow sticks, tambourines and had a classic confetti exit to end the night.

Jenna Laine Weddings: Farish and Bud

We loved this bride and groom and their spirited wedding party. The week of the wedding we discovered it was going to be a wet weekend and we needed to fully cover not only the reception are, but also needed to tent the ceremony space. We appreciated that Farish trusted our team to make the right decisions and in the end we loved our ceremony setup even more than the original plan. Farish and Bud wanted a beautiful boho wedding and a fun reception filled with lots of dancing and that’s just what they got. We love looking at these photos and these happy smiles.

Tell us your story.

Bud and I met at the University of South Alabama in 2012. We did not start dating until the spring of 2013. We were both athletes at south so the first few years of our relationship were spent at a softball or baseball field. We graduated in May of 2015 and although we did distance for a few months we have been pretty inseparable ever since we met. Bud popped the question on Christmas day in 2017 and we finally tied the knot in May 2019. Hands down one of best and most fun days of my life!

What was your favorite part of the planning process?

Favorite part of planning would have to be hiring Jenna and her team. The planning process was such a breeze. They really took the time to understand what we wanted and made everything happen. Could not have done it without her and her team!

What was your vision for the wedding?

I wanted a very natural and neutral color pallet with beachy and boho vibe! I had always envisioned a big party and I think that we definitely pulled that off! 

What was your favorite detail of the wedding?

It is so hard to choose just one of my favorite details from the wedding as every part and detail of the day completely blew me away! We had some weather that came through so Jenna took and ran with plan B. The ceremony arch and the arrangements at the end of each row were absolutely beautiful and we were able to reuse the arrangements to line the stage that our band played on at the reception. I also loved how unique all of our center pieces were! I honestly had no idea how they would turn out and they were absolutely amazing! Another detail that I was in awe over was the pampas grass wreath that hung behind our cake. I could go on and on as every detail was better than I could have ever imagined.

What was your favorite moment of the day?

One of my favorite parts of the day was walking down the aisle with my dad and seeing my future hubby standing at the end. I completely lost control and started bawling. SO many strong emotions! The next best part of the day was dancing all night long with all of our guest!! We have the most fun family and friends so it was a blast!!

If you could give advice to another bride in the process of planning her wedding what would it be?

RELAX!! I think that its very easy to get caught up in the planning of this “perfect day” but one thing I tried to do throughout the process is to remember what this day represents. Regardless of what happens you will get married and it will be the best day of your life because you are getting to marry the man/woman that you love so much!  Plus.. trust your planner.. chances are they know what they are talking about! Ha!

Jenna Laine Weddings: Allison & Wade

When this couple came to us to plan their July wedding one of their few request was to try and do it outside, but July in Alabama just wasn’t going to cooperate. So, as a compromise the couple decided to have a cocktail hour on the Pier of the Grand Hotel where you are always guaranteed a nice breeze. From there we surprised the groom with.a second line that guided guests across campus to the Magnolia Ballroom where guest enjoyed the rest of their evening dancing the night away! We loved everything about this wedding from the inviting set to the neutral color pallet and the fun little surprises throughout the evening, but most of all we love those happy smiles seen in the last photo below.
